Classic Japanese lopping shears with heavy-duty forged blades and strong oak handles.

Suitable for branches up to 2.5cm/1", although as some species are harder than others this is only a guide, and common sense should tell you when to stop. Attack larger branches at a 45˚angle and whatever you do, do not rely on the handles to do the cutting – they are wood and you can snap them with enough lever pressure. If the blades aren’t coping, sharpen them and try again, or use a pruning saw. Includes vinyl sheath.
