Green Leaves Espresso Cup

These handmade cups made in the Fayoum Pottery tradition feature a charming and sophisticated pattern of green leaves and blue polka dots.

We like to imagine these cups serving a perfect espresso by morning and a pour of sake come evening.

Carefully crafted from clay from Aswan, Egypt, lead-free glaze pigmented with earthen oxides.

Care instructions: Hand wash in warm water and dry with a towel promptly. Do not microwave or place directly on top of a burner or in the oven. Harsh scrubbing cream or pads can scratch the surface. 

If properly cared for, Fayoum pottery may be used and enjoyed on a daily basis for many years.

Due to their handmade nature, these items may have slight irregularities, which we think add to their charm and beauty.
